Most homeowners put the container in the driveway. Tell us about slopes, overhead wires or a tight turn so we plan the drop.

What you cannot load

Rules differ by state. In Massachusetts:

Paint, batteries, fuel oil, diesel, pressurized tanks and other hazardous items cannot go in. Mattresses, box springs, tires, rims, appliances, Freon items and large electronics can go in at an extra cost. Yard waste and dirt cannot be mixed with household or construction debris, so ask about a separate container for those.

In Rhode Island and Florida:

Hazardous items such as paint, batteries, fuel and pressurized tanks cannot go in. Ask before loading mattresses, tires, appliances or anything else you are unsure about, since some items carry an extra charge.
